§ 5.08.020. Apartment houses, house courts, bungalow courts, boardinghouses, roominghouses, lodginghouses.

  • Every person engaged in the business of conducting or operating any roominghouse, boardinghouse, apartment house, lodginghouse, house court, or bungalow court, or engaging in the business of renting or letting rooms, apartments, or other accommodations for dwelling, sleeping, housekeeping, or lodging in any such place other than a hotel or motel, an annual license fee set by city council resolution as follows:

    A.

    For one to three units;

    B.

    For four to six units;

    C.

    For seven to ten units;

    D.

    For over ten units, the fee shall be assessed per unit for each additional unit over ten at an annual fee set by city council resolution.
